MediBuddy Automated Medicine Dispenser

MediBuddy Automated Medicine Dispenser is an innovative project designed to assist People on Maintenance Medications (POMMs) in taking their pills on time. Many patients tend to miss their medication schedules due to forgetfulness or busy routines, which can affect their health. MediBuddy addresses this issue by providing an automated dispenser and web system that ensures timely reminders and organized medication intake. With this solution, patients will no longer forget to take their pills.

The project was developed by a five-member team, where my contributions focused on front-end development of the web system and designing the prototype of the dispenser. The web interface ensures an intuitive and user-friendly experience, while the dispenser hardware automates pill distribution based on set schedules.

The system leverages a versatile tech stack:
*Arduino and C++ for building and programming the dispenser prototype
*PHP, HTML, CSS for the web system frontend and backend
*Firebase for real-time database management and cloud storage

As both a hardware and software solution, MediBuddy demonstrates how technology can be used to improve healthcare routines and provide reliable assistance to patients on maintenance medications.
