Danao to Licos Peak Trail Experience

Our Danao City to Licos Peak hike and trail run was a 21KM adventure that followed part of the Danao Ultramarathon international trail route. I was joined by my friends Dana Labay, Crystal Abata, Lenel Capangpangan, Jemar, and Nikko Nudalo, which made the experience even more fun and memorable. Having a great group really added energy and excitement to the entire journey.

We started our trip early, leaving Liloan at 4:00 AM and arriving in Danao City around 5:00 AM. From there, we began the hike at the church, setting off while it was still early in the morning. The cool weather and quiet surroundings made for a perfect start to a long but rewarding trail.

The full route was captured in a YouTube video that runs almost one hour, showing the entire experience from start to finish. The trail itself was challenging but enjoyable, with a mix of endurance, scenery, and teamwork. It was truly a great adventure that highlighted both the beauty of the trail and the fun of hiking with friends.
